Newmont’s ‘Gold Partner’ sponsorship of the Hunters is the first for the company in PNG following the successful acquisition of Newcrest Mining in November last year, reflecting its strong commitment to safety, health, wellness, sustainability and respectful behaviours.

Newmont commends every player for their hard-earned selection in the strong 30-man squad and congratulates Paul Aiton on his appointment as the head coach for this season.

The donation is timely and will support the committee in its endeavour to revive the code in the district.

Mengen Limited Managing Director, Ronald Lutulel presented K2000 cash as sponsorship to the RSA on Tuesday, 27th June 2023 at the Rabaul Queen Elizabeth Park.

Lutulel, on behalf of Mengen Limited was honoured to come forward and support in a small way to alleviate law and order issues and help to revive the code of softball in Rabaul.

The RSA interim executive chairlady, Bernadette Payao received the cash sponsorship, witnessed by RSA executives.

Chairman for Motu Koita Assembly and Deputy Governor for NCD, Dadi Toka Jnr, acknowledged the sponsors and stated that the assembly is looking forward for the beginning of another long term sponsor.

Deputy Governor stated that the Air Niugini sponsorship covers International Return Airline Tickets for the Hiri Hanenamo Title Winners and Domestic Return Airline Tickets for the Hiri Hanenamo contestants.

Acting Provincial Administrator, Leo Mapmani presented the K200,000 cheque to the Cutters management team.

For the past five years, the Kimbe Cutters have received support from its naming rights sponsor, the West New Britain Provincial Government through Governor Sasindran Muthuvel including the former Talasea District Development Authority.

This is the first sponsorship launch towards the festival and is the third time BSP has assisted. The presentation today had BSP hand-over a cheque of K30, 000 to assist with the festival.

Corporate Sponsorship Manager, Amelia Minoppu, stated that BSP is pleased to join another year round since 2021.

“As you all know culture and tradition plays a big role in our communities and in the Pacific and the values of the communities we operate in. It’s through events like the Hiri Moale festival that our brand identifies the people that we work with,” she stated.

As the official airline partner of the Dabaris Rugby Club, the airline provides flights and logistical support for the team to their games outside of Port Moresby.

PNG Air recognizes that sport plays a key role in development, and are proud to support the Central Dabaris rugby club in their endeavours to promote the sport throughout the nation.

The agreement was signed today with representation from both organisations. 

Both companies are excited to ink a new three-year deal for a ‘substantial’ investment after initially signing on as major netball sponsors in 2014.

Our joint sponsorship will help the growth of the country’s single biggest female participation sport. Digicel is the major sponsor of Special Olympics Team Fiji.

Digicel Fiji CEO, Mike Greig while signing the official sponsorship agreement said, “This is an on-going partnership which stretches years back to support Special Olympics Fiji in major events and now we are stepping up to support the team to attend the World meet.”

Special Olympics Team Fiji will send its largest contingent to the world meet with 21 athletes in five sports, supported by 14 strong volunteer team of managers and support staff.
