From Saturday March 5 until midnight on Sunday March 6, data subscribers of Digicel’s 1 Day Regular and 1 Day Social Pass will have access to double the value of their data for the same price.

Subscribers of the 1 day regular pass who purchase 60MB of data for K3.00 will receive 120MB of data for K3.00.

As such, the 1 day Social Pass subscribers who purchase 60MB of data for K4.00 will double their data to 120MB for K4.00 this weekend. Social pass allows subscribers free access to Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

The rate will apply to all calls made only on Friday from Madang Province between Digicel account holders.

Digicel PNG CEO, Maurice McCarthy, said it was incredibly important for Madang locals traveling along the affected area to be able to keep communication with local authorities and with family and friends.

“We hope that by reducing the cost of calls in the area we can provide some relief to the region affected,” he said.

The special promotion, which ran from January 18 to February 18, saw customers who subscribed to any Digicel Play package go in to a draw to win a 365-day plan free of charge. 

Digicel PNG CEO Maurice McCarthy said the month-long promotion was a great success, awarding 15 winners in total from all over PNG.

Last Saturday, 20 February, Madang residents celebrated the upcoming NRL season with a successful community fun day at Laiwaden Oval, whilst Buka and Kokopo residents have their turn this Saturday, 27 February.

Digicel could make your wish come true  and is giving all its customers “double entries” in the final

“Top Up & Win Mega Cash” promotion to be drawn next Monday night.

This week, Digicel customers who purchase either a K3.30 or K5.50 Flex Card, or who Top Up with K3.30 or more using electronic top-up machines, will receive double entries into the draw.

Encouraged by the life changing impact the promotion has had on the lives of the winners, Digicel is extending the promotion until further notice.
