Digicel doubles data for weekend of fun

From Saturday March 5 until midnight on Sunday March 6, data subscribers of Digicel’s 1 Day Regular and 1 Day Social Pass will have access to double the value of their data for the same price.

Subscribers of the 1 day regular pass who purchase 60MB of data for K3.00 will receive 120MB of data for K3.00.

As such, the 1 day Social Pass subscribers who purchase 60MB of data for K4.00 will double their data to 120MB for K4.00 this weekend. Social pass allows subscribers free access to Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.

Digicel gives special rate for Madang-Lae highway

The rate will apply to all calls made only on Friday from Madang Province between Digicel account holders.

Digicel PNG CEO, Maurice McCarthy, said it was incredibly important for Madang locals traveling along the affected area to be able to keep communication with local authorities and with family and friends.

“We hope that by reducing the cost of calls in the area we can provide some relief to the region affected,” he said.

Buka, Kokopo to revel with NRL in the Park

Last Saturday, 20 February, Madang residents celebrated the upcoming NRL season with a successful community fun day at Laiwaden Oval, whilst Buka and Kokopo residents have their turn this Saturday, 27 February.

Hundreds of Madang residents enjoyed a special guest performance by music sensation Nathan Nakikus and participated in fun footy games, where some participants received great prizes.

Digicel extends Mega Cash Promotion

PNG now has access to reverse call

The introduction of the Reverse Call service allows prepaid and postpaid customers to request a Call Connect to other Digicel prepaid and postpaid phone numbers, transferring the cost of the call to the other phone.

This form of telecommunication service provided by Digicel is the first of its kind in PNG and will ensure all customers have access to phone calls in emergencies or difficult situations.
