Uni-Social Event

Universal Church feeds 1000

The event that has transformed lives of many people has reached out to the needy, sharing food, clothes and the Word of God through the congregations in Port Moresby, Lae and Arawa.

On Saturday 25th February at the main church in Gordons, the Port Moresby congregation received more than 1194 people including more than 200 children, including those in Lae and Arawa. This number is more than the previous event which was just a little over 400 people.

Ps Jonathan explained on the reason why not only to feed those who are in need but also to teach them.

Universal Church last feed

More than 300 men, women and children turned up for the feeding and charity program complimented by spiritual teaching.

Christmas is a universal time for giving and receiving, more so for Christians to relate the event to its origins - the birth of Jesus.

A ray of hope

On Saturday, 24th of December, several people, both members and none members of the Universal Church turned up to get a bit of a feed and so to have their spirit revived.

The Universal Church reached out to many souls whose lives were transformed for the better. Some came from very rough background, some from neglect and violent abuse.

Timothy Kimin, now a faithful church member used to be a gang member but since his encounter with Jesus, he is now a changed man.

Church Hosts Uni-Social Event

A little over 100 people of all lifestyles arrived at the church this morning to get a share of the goodness shared by the church to those in need.

The event is held at the end of every month to follow in the footsteps of Lord Jesus Christ in serving the poor and the needy.

Many of the people who arrived this morning were recently evicted from the Garden Hills settlement, like Miriam Timi who came with one of their three daughters.
