A Taste Of PNG In Dubai

IAI was invited to the World Expo where they presented their unique achievements in developing agriculture in the Papua New Guinea.

The Kuk Kaukau chips, together with Sirunki strawberries and Ilimo Gelato won the hearts and mouths of the many visitors at the PNG pavilion, during the Expo Agriculture week. 

IAI Executive Director Ilan Weiss was also invited as a key speaker to the PNG investment forum, presenting the IAI’ vision of sustainable agriculture through value chains creation, smart agriculture and community engagement.

Masiu In Dubai For World Expo

Minister Masiu arrived in Dubai last weekend accompanied by Department Secretary, Steven Matainaho, NICTA CEO Kila Gulo-Vui, technical officers from the ICT ministerial sector and Foreign Affairs and International Trade and are scheduled for a lead of visits and events.

Dance Troupes For Dubai Expo

The National Cultural Commission (NCC) when holding the final audition recently in Port Moresby. The competition was set up to choose only one winner, however due to certain criteria set, a tie was announced that ended in selecting two troupes, Bilas Group and the UPNG Creative Arts Group.

The troupes will be among many that will take part in a weeklong strand of events in Dubai that will give our chosen candidates the opportunity to highlight PNG’s culture and tradition in song and dance.
