Miss Pacific Islands Josie Nicholas returns home

Miss Pacific Islands 2023 Josie Nicholas thanked all her supporters and family for enabling her and the MPIP PNG Team in participating at the regional pageant this year in beautiful Samoa.

MPIP PNG donates to POMGEN

The donations were part of an appeal by the charity to support the Covid-19 patients at the Port Moresby General Hospital and other care centers.

Friends of POMGEN is a new charity established by the Board of Port Moresby General Hospital to help fill in the gaps where the government is unable to support those that are in need at the hospital.

MPIP assigns designers to contestants

MPIP PNG chairman Katherine Johnston said this year, each contestant would be assigned to a designer from the MPIP Project Runway, so that her wardrobe, sarong and traditionally-inspired dress can be tailored.

Announcing Miss Pacific Balance Fund on Wednesday, MPIP PNG introduced Anna Amos as Melody Leke’s personal stylist.

Amos of A A’s Tribal Designs, from Chimbu Province, is based in Port Moresby. She has eight years of experience in designing.
