ENB civil servants upskilled on performance system

The training was in response to a request by Provincial Administrator Levi Mano, who saw the need for senior ENBPA management at the provincial headquarters to the districts and LLGs to understand and embrace the PMS as an essential tool to deliver services to the people.

Personnel management staff and team leader of the PMS workshop, Marita Kouga applauded the foresight of the PA who embraced the department as an important partner to build the provincial administration’s capacity to implement important government reforms.

ENB Strategic Development Plan under review

The three-week review started on July 24th 2023 and will end this week.

The last 10-year plan 2011-2021 has expired therefore the Planning and Research Division is facilitating this exercise for all the sectors to come up with its new provincial SDP.

According to the Deputy Administrator Social Services Marakan Uvano this new review plan contains the strategies, the vision and mission of the province.

He said these programs strategies and projects from this plan are the vehicles that will help to drive the province to its destiny.

ENBPA plans legal unit expansion

Deputy ENB Provincial Administrator for Corporate Services, Marakan Uvano, expressed this at the recent workshop on law-making, hosted by the Provincial Autonomy Committee Secretariat.

He said the workshop has prompted the ENBPA to consider the expansion, and there should be a program to assist in this matter.

“Gone are the days when our cultural structures and institutions were able to manage our people and communities. Today these institutions are being questioned, as we have law and order issues,” Uvano said.
