K35 million methamphetamine case

Magistrate Lorna Sani made the decision yesterday after police prosecutor, Vincent Suakai, asked for more time to put together the necessary documents that will be tendered to court.

Suakai told Sani that police have completed their investigation pursuant to section 94B of the District Courts Act 1963.

Magistrate Lorna Sani made the decision on Friday, May 5^th, following a submission by police prosecutor, Sergeant Vincent Suakai, who sought leave to insert subparagraph (b) of the ‘Controlled Substance Act 2021’ into the information, in relation to the charge under section 68, subsection (1).
