Eminem uses song to say sorry to Rihanna for backing Chris Brown

Eminem raps on his track Zeus: "And wholeheartedly apologies Rihanna for that song that leaked/I'm sorry, Rih, it wasn't meant to cause you grief."

He was referring to a decade-old song that leaked in 2019, on which he said "of course I side with Chris Brown".

Zeus appears on Eminem's surprise album Music to be Murdered By Side B.

The album, which accompanies January's Music to be Murdered By, was released on Friday.

Police forced to confirm suspect isn't Eminem after posting images of lookalike

The Rochester Police Department posted images of the Slim Shady lookalike in a bid to identify a male suspect, but they didn't quite get the information they were hoping for.

The Facebook post soon went viral, and authorities were met with an influx of comments about the man's resemblance to the rapper, whose real name is Marshall Mathers.

The top comment suggests the man was "probably just going 'round the outside, 'round the outside," referencing the lyrics of Eminem's hit song 'Without Me'.

50 Cent made Eminem want to quit

Slim Shady paid tribute to his fellow rapper on Thursday with some lyrical love, rapping some of 50 Cent's song "Places To Go" from the "8 Mile" soundtrack.

"Yo, Fif, first off, I wanna say happy birthday," Eminem said in a video posted on Instagram. "Secondly, I want to remind you of a verse you did that made me want to quit rapping."

The now bearded Eminem then launched into "Picture a perfect picture/picture me in a pimp hat/picture me starting s**t/picture me busting my gat."

Will the real Eminem please stand up?

Fans of the rapper are going wild after he shared a photo of himself sporting a beard on his usually clean-shaven face.

Eminem, whose real name is Marshall Mathers, captioned the photo: "Just a couple of guys from Compton and one from Detroit. With a beard." #thedefiantones."

Eminem's Instagram followers seemed to lose themselves -- lyrical pun intended -- and threw shade at Slim Shady.

"The Eminem i've always known never had facial hair so hard catching up to this," wrote on follower.

Others demanded he shave.

Eminem's Stan is now in dictionary

The track, from his The Marshall Mathers LP, features Dido and is about a crazed fan obsessed with the rapper.

Eminem sues New Zealand governing party over Lose Yourself

The US rapper says the song, used in the 2014 advert by the National Party, was an unlicensed version of Lose Yourself, one of his biggest hits.

But the party's lawyers argue it was not actually Lose Yourself, but a track called Eminem-esque which they bought from a stock music library.

The case began on Monday, with the two tracks played in court.

A lawyer for Eight Mile Style - a publishing group representing the artist - said Lose Yourself was "iconic" and "without doubt the jewel in the crown of Eminem's musical work".
