Isou Out Of Finals Race

The Ducks were formally on fourth place and the change will see 7th placed, Buria Reds settle into the top 6 for a chance in the elimination finals to be held next week, January 15. 
 
SSL Chairman, Bagelo Solien said Suburban Ducks was eliminated after its management did not meet outstanding affiliation fee of K5000. He said all clubs were required to pay K10,000 and ample time was given to meet the fee.

Solian hails Southern Super League a success

The outcome resulted in the competition being allowed to resume over the weekend under the Niupla Pasin protocol.

The competition resumed at the Moresby South stadium with round 6 matches on Friday and concluded successfully on Saturday without spectators.

On Friday Pom Suburban Ducks (16) defeated Koiari Nagavas (10), Buria Reds (26) defeated Rigo Raiders (24), Gulf Isou Development (20) beat Eda Bulldogs (10).

Results from Saturday, Central Dabaris Development (38) thrashed Hiri West Flames (14).

MS Blacks and MCK Lagatois tied 16 all.

Super League Cleared To Start

The conditional approval by the National Pandemic Control office comes with strict game day guidelines under the Niupla Pasin policy.

Southern Super league chairman, Bagelo Solien said that as part of the conditional approval, all games will be played at the Moresby South Sports stadium, Kaugere starting this Friday, 12th of November with possibility of using the Sir John Guise stadium as well.

He said the COVID-19 measure regarding no gatherings of more than 20 people, has pushed the competition to run through to Christmas and New Year.
