National Superannuation Fund (NASFUND)

Access NASFUND digital services – FOC

Members with Telikom SIM card, MiFi device, of WiFi router can also access NASFUND’s smartphone app, member online portal, employer online portal and website at no fee.

NASFUND Chief Officer Member Services said the partnership was the first of its kind and provides members with a critical service free of charge.

The partnership was forged after feedback from some employer HR’s and payrolls that their organisations will not avail them internet access.

The partnership is seen as a win-win for both parties.

NASFUND pays additional K6m

NASFUND CEO, Ian Tarutia, revealed this during his presentation at the 2017 Annual Certified Practising Accountants Conference.

Tarutia said because they have had to pay out more, they have not made long term investments and are only focusing on the short term.

This means holding more cash so that they are able to pay out as and when members apply.

NASFUND places greater emphasis on services

This was stated during the opening of the refurbished NASFUND Boroko Client Service Centre.

Board Chairman, Hulala Tokome, said  a greater emphasis was being put on member services in 2017 and beyond.

He said the organization was investing in providing state of the art service to enhance member services and make it the first choice superannuation provider.
