National Superannuation Fund (NASFUND) members can now access the Fund’s range of digital online products free of charge via the Telikom 4G LTE mobile network.
Members with Telikom SIM card, MiFi device, of WiFi router can also access NASFUND’s smartphone app, member online portal, employer online portal and website at no fee.
NASFUND Chief Officer Member Services said the partnership was the first of its kind and provides members with a critical service free of charge.
The partnership was forged after feedback from some employer HR’s and payrolls that their organisations will not avail them internet access.
The partnership is seen as a win-win for both parties.
For Telikom it is an opportunity to increase its market’s share through the NASFUND membership base of around 500,000.
NASFUND expects all 2,600 employers to be registered and to use the free service by the last quarter of 2018.
Telikom will roll its SIM cards to all NASFUND branches for members to sign up to use its 4G LTE mobile network.
