The programs are being rolled out under the ENB Provincial Administration’s divisions of community development and lands and physical planning.

The 14 service providers were at the Kokopo Primary School hall on Wednesday, November 15^th, to sign their service level agreements (SLA) with the Acting ENB Provincial Administrator, Levi Mano.

The distinguished individuals who have been entrusted with these pivotal roles are as follows:

1. Allen Masil Los has been appointed as the Provincial Administrator of Eastern Highlands Province for a duration of four years.
2. Max Bruten has assumed the position of Provincial Administrator for Morobe Province, also for a term of four years.

The National Executive Council, responsible for the appointments, has officially announced and published the appointments of these two provincial administrators in the National Gazette.

Polye said China Harbour Engineering company had done defective and substandard work on the phase one construction of the Lae Tidal Basin.

He was commenting on a media report which cited CHEC likely to be engaged in the Waigani to Badihagwa-Hanuabada road project. 

He added that the wharf work cost the taxpayers’ nearly K1 billion.

Polye doubted whether CSTB had done due diligence and strict assessment in the screening process, saying if not, CSTB is incompetent.
