Laumape's second try was the result of an audacious chip-pass from All Blacks flyhalf Beauden Barrett about 15 metres out from his own line and with flanker Brad Shields in the sinbin as the home side weathered a relentless Stormers attack.

Warriors in short turnaround to meet Storm

The odd five-day turnaround is part of every season for most NRL Telstra Premiership clubs these days, but for the Warriors it's something they have hardly even had to think about in recent times.

Since 2012 the Kiwi club have been involved in just one five-day gap between matches, beating the Tigers 32-22 on April 11, 2015, five days after losing to the Storm on April 6.

This week they will navigate it again when they take on Melbourne on Friday night, after beating Newcastle 26-22 on Sunday afternoon.

Housing crisis from bad weather in Bougainville

A quick check by New Dawn FM to Guava village saw that the eleven houses will need a total of 200 sheets of corrugated roofing iron as soon as possible.

Although some of the houses had their roofs fixed they still need new roofing as they have many holes in them and are no longer strong to withstand similar strong winds in the future.

According to the people there, the roofing had been repeatedly damaged in the past and could fly off anytime.

Some roofs were removed previously from screw on and are also full of holes.

Storm moving east after tornado, injuries in Illinois

The storm was moving east, threatening to bring similar weather to northern Indiana and parts of Michigan, where strong winds also damaged homes, prompted rescues and knocked out power to thousands of people late Monday and early Tuesday.

Particularly hard hit was a private camping resort in Sublette, an Illinois community about 100 miles west of Chicago. Fire Chief Kevin Schultz said damage was worse than anticipated, spread across about 700 acres of the Woodhaven Association resort.
