Waga Shake brings crowd out at the Cosmopolitan

The six7five party kicked off at 11:30pm with guest performance – the man in dreads – O’Four starting up the heat.

Boys from CocoMahn Basement (CMB) took on the challenge to keep the crowd entertained dropping favourites including Basio lalo among others.

And yes, Narxson was in the house and he did turn the heat up with Meri Nakanai and Mangi Morobe.

But the magic happened when Planet Native stepped on the stage bringing harsh Hip Hop straight out of Port Moresby’s urban scene.

Beatboxing hitting the spotlight in PNG

Lazor Marx and Beatboxer Steve’s story goes back to 2013, when they introduced something new into PNG’s street entertainment.

With fellow beatboxers Shadez Drone and Cryptic, the four started PNG’s very own beatbox community, which over the years has grown to a little over 20 in number to date.

PNG musician to participate in Vanuatu music festival

The boy from Mekeo and Hanuabada will be among a number of international acts, to perform at the Fest’Napuan 2016, to be held from October 12 to 16.

Fest’Napuan, a free-to-public music festival is an annual cultural event which features both local and international artists.
