Kumai raise concerns on law and order

Talasea MP, Freddie Kumai raised this issue on the floor of Parliament today.

MP Kumai is concerned that criminal activities are on the rise with no police presence along the New Britain highway.

He also mentioned that there is a certain route and link evolving around the maritime provinces of Morobe and East and West New Britain provinces both on land and sea that contributes to the rising law and order rates in the province.

Work on fields and venues for FIFA World Cup a priority

This was highlighted by the executive director of the PNG Sports Foundation, Peter Tsiamalili, during a workshop held by the Local Organising Committee (LOC) last week.

He said there will be four training fields at Bisini, one at Sir John Guise stadium, two at Murray Barracks, two at the University of Papua New Guinea, two at the Institute of Public Administration, two at Gerehu Secondary School, one at Gordon’s Secondary School, two at Port Moresby National High School and one at the Port Moresby International School.
