The minor B Grade titles cues off on Sept 7-11 followed by the major A Grade titles from Sept 14-18.
Papua New Guinea Billiard and Snooker Association (PNGBSA) vice president John Chan said 40 players are expected each for the minor and major titles.
Chan explained that the winner of the minor title gets automatic entry in the major competition and tries for a double as well.
He said apart from Moresby, players will be coming from Kavieng and Alotau as well to make this a really national championship.
