Indoor cricket heading into finals

In the men’s division, PIH Surgeons are the minor premiers for this season in the Avala pool, while to the Lahara pool, Puma Red Jaguars have taken out the honours.

“The mixed division also has Digicel Redbacks (Mirigini pool) to take out the minor premiers.

“With the completion of the remaining round matches this weekend, Digicel will be receiving the forfeit points for the match against World Bank, who withdrew earlier this month.

“Same goes for Tent Manufacturers in the Avurigo pool who will be taking home the minor premiers trophy.

Round 8 sees entertaining encounters

Reigning Men's division premiers, Puma Energy suffered their first loss of the season at the hands of a fired up Bank South Pacific (BSP).

Things didn't go as planned for the defending champions as BSP kept the pressure on with some tight bowling and fielding.

Puma Energy could only manage 66 and were quietly confident of defending their score.

Puma exerted some pressure early on to put BSP under pressure but, some cool BSP heads remained to ensure victory for BSP to post 111.

Despite the victory to BSP, Puma Energy still maintains top spot by a thread.

Corporate cricket comp resumes this weekend

A blockbuster encounter is set to begin this weekend with frontrunners PUMA Energy set to lock horns with second-placed BSP in the Avala Pool.

Laurabada pace setters, PIH, will have their match against Moni Plus re-scheduled for another round, with a number of their players still out of the country.

Meanwhile, PAG will have their work cut out against SCAL, who will be determined to close the gap on the Laurabada pool leaders.

The Mixed division is no different, with Avurigo league leaders AVIS set to tussle for the top spot against second-placed BSP.
