Horn's Pacquiao win confirmed

The Australian shocked Pacquiao to win the WBO welterweight title at the start of July, but many considered the unanimous points decision a controversial one.

But Pacquiao and the Philippines Games and Amusements Board (GAB) called for the WBO to review the fight, although Horn would still keep his title regardless of the findings.

Five judges re-scored the bout and Horn was once more ruled the winner on Monday.

WBO re-scoring Pacquiao v Horn

The WBO was responding to a Philippines government department's request to review last Sunday's fight after Pacquiao said the decision against him was unfair.

The Philippines Games and Amusements Board's (GAB) said it based their request on protecting boxing's integrity, citing possible miscalls by the referee and judges.

But the WBO reiterated its only hope of revoking the fight judges' decision rests on proving fraud in match officiating.

Manny Pacquiao wants fight reviewed

Pacquiao lost his World Boxing Organisation (WBO) welterweight championship to Australian Horn in a contentious points decision on Sunday in the 'Battle of Brisbane' at Suncorp Stadium.

While the 38-year-old Pacquiao said he accepted the view of the judges in his in-ring interview immediately after the fight, he has grown more critical of the result since returning to the Philippines.

Roach: I'll tell Manny to quit

Before Pacquiao faced the largely unknown Horn, Roach had talked of the 38-year-old, who has won world titles in an unprecedented eight weight divisions during his long career, lining up a rematch against Floyd Mayweather Jr.

Pacquiao ignored Parker

For all of 45 seconds.

"This boxer," Pacquiao said pointing to Duran, "was one of my favourite boxers when I first started. And of course, Jeff Fenech. And my friend Tim Bradley."

Bradley is one of the few fighters to have inflicted defeat on Pacquiao in his 67 bouts. Pacquiao then paused, looked around …

"And I don't know the name of the rest of the people here. You will enjoy this fight. Thank you, and good afternoon."

And then he left.

Manny Pacquiao and Amir Khan to fight in April

The bout has been arranged after Pacquiao's followers on Twitter voted Khan as the opponent they would like to see the Filipino fight next.

"This is what the fans wanted," Pacquiao, 38, said on social media.

Khan, 30, also confirmed the fight but, although Pacquiao has said his next fight would be in the United Arab Emirates, no venue has been announced.

Horn-Pacquiao fight in doubt as Manny takes to Twitter

Hot on the heels of a tweet from Saturday which said: "see you in UAE for my next fight", Pacquiao started a poll on Monday asking who he should fight next out of Horn, Amir Khan, Terence Crawford and Kell Brook.

Horn was a clear last on seven per cent after more than 44,000 votes with Amir Khan (48 per cent) ahead of Brook (24 per cent) and Crawford (21 per cent).

Mayweather, Pacquiao lawsuits sent to California court

Judge R. Gary Klausner, the same judge hearing arguments in cases filed against the Sony movie studios related to that company's computer hacker attack last year, will decide if the Pacquiao cases are granted class-action status before any trial proceeds.
