Lady Emeline Dadae Shows Compassion for Animals at RSPCA

Upon her arrival, Lady Emeline was greeted with warm and furry embraces from the facility's friendly feline and canine residents, who seemed to instantly connect with her.

During her inaugural visit to the RSPCA, Lady Dadae explored the premises, engaged with the dedicated staff, and relished the joyous companionship of the amicable animals.

This visit marks the beginning of a promising partnership, as Lady Dadae expressed her intent to make regular appearances at the RSPCA to champion the cause of animal welfare.

Women urged to be health change agents

MSPNG personnel presented sessions on Family Planning (FP) and Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) that formed part of the Health Awareness Program facilitated by the PNG Cancer Foundation (PNGCF) Programs Coordinator, Renee Marru, on Friday 30th June held at the Lohia-Rahe Resource Centre.

With the theme ‘Start the conversation. Let’s take action. Make healthy lifestyle choices,’ 32 female residents of Vabukori participated in the awareness session where they learned how to care for their loved ones in terms of Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH). 

Lady Emeline is PNGKF Ambassador

On Thursday 12 January 2022, Chairman of PNGKF, Sir Martin Poh announced Lady Emeline’s appointment.

Sir Martin said the PNGKF was started in 2009 after 13 years of operation in partnership with Kumul Petroleum. Last month he had the ambition to reveal the foundation’s plan and vision to start a medical centre with qualified laboratories to look after patients throughout the country.

“We have one doctor locally who was trained in Malaysia. We also try to engage more doctors.

G-G’s UK Visit Concluded

This week the Governor General, Grand Chief Sir Bob Dadae and wife, Lady Emeline Dadae paid a courtesy call to counterpart, New Zealand Governor General, Her Excellency Dame Cindy Kiro.

She is New Zealand’s first Maori woman to be appointed a Governor General.
