This was obvious during the announcement of its sponsored contestant to the Miss Pacific Islands Pageant (MPIP).
A trend that started last year, which even has the Vice Chancellor Edward Silva’s support, IBS is committed to continue sponsoring a female student yearly into this national pageant.
The recently made university views this as a way of women empowerment.
“IBS is not only concentrating on education – we need to make the complete personality, especially for women,” said Silva.
