The order for the secret ballot was handed down by acting judge, Justice Thomas Anis from a court proceeding between Nangal Limited and contending developers, Tzen Niugini Limited (TZL) and K.K Connections Limited (KKCL).
This was from disputes between two factions from the area having differing opinions on who should log timber land and develop it following the logging.
KKCL was selected as the developer with 550 votes over TZL who drew in 308 votes.
