Waigani Primary school lays it on with celebrations

Waigani Primary School students have been challenged to live a life meaningfully to the development of this country.

This reflection comes amidst the schools 41st pre-independence celebrations today.
The celebrations involve the participation of all students beginning from grade three to eight.
The open event also  involved parents and interested public to see performance by 15 traditional dance groups from all regions of the country.
These dance performances are part of the grade 7 assessments from which the students will be assessed.
Other traditional activities assessed were traditional food prepared by Grade 6 students.
Other classes presented a history of Prime Ministers, national flag and more PNG-related activities.
