Cheshire disAbility services calling for volunteers

Cheshire disAbility services is hosting another fundraising today at the Boroko Foodworld.

The sausage sizzle fundraiser has been taking place every Saturday for 18 years now.

The money raised goes directly to its operational costs mainly water and electricity, as the institutions operates 24 hours to care for it's residents.

Part of the money also covers for some staff salary in the year.

The aim is to sell more than 600 hotdogs every Saturday.

But the challenge is a permanent team to run this event.

The organisers are calling for volunteers of at least 6 to 7 people to assist during the fundraiser.

They are also calling on the help of corporate houses and stores to help with ingredients, especially tomato sauce which is expensive.

At the moment, Boroko Foodworld has offered them a venue and a reasonable price for ingredients.
