RSPCA's Paws Walk a hit

476 registered human participants took to Ela Beach with 35 doggies. However, that number rose when the general public joined in.

“People from the general public who, after noticing that others were walking their doggies, also came with their doggies and joined (mainly people from the nearby settlement),” community liaison coordinator Brigitte Baki-Ta’u said.

“I counted five young men with their doggies.

“Our own shelter doggies, which we brought along for the walk, were 4, giving us a total of 39 doggies who attended the walk.
