Flying start for public servants netball

Teams came out in numbers to register their participation for the 2017/2018 season when game of season proper got underway yesterday.

Teams had to double up matches due to the cancellation of game one last week and newly-elected president of the Public Servants Netball Association, Rawa Stoi, wants the competition to be an avenue to promote healthy living among the womenfolk.

There are six divisions, including the premiere division, which includes Fisheries and NHC and the 2017/2018 season promises to be one full of flare.

Public servants netball season starts

While many women in the public service take it as leisure time, others use it as a fitness and networking event to win.

Following a successful Annual General Meeting for the 2017/2018 season, IRC’s most senior and experienced goal keeper, Rawa Stoi, was elected as president of the Public Servants Netball Association.

Newly-elected executive members for 2018 right through to the 2020 season were announced in taking up the task to steer the off-season netball competition to greater heights.
