Public servants netball season starts

The time has come once more for all the action in the public servants netball 2017/2018 season to unfold.

While many women in the public service take it as leisure time, others use it as a fitness and networking event to win.

Following a successful Annual General Meeting for the 2017/2018 season, IRC’s most senior and experienced goal keeper, Rawa Stoi, was elected as president of the Public Servants Netball Association.

Newly-elected executive members for 2018 right through to the 2020 season were announced in taking up the task to steer the off-season netball competition to greater heights.

Also put together was the match, umpiring, appeals and fundraising committees.

The newly-elected executives of the Public Servants Netball Association have vowed to work together to bring the code to all women who are eligible to take part.

The first trial match of two weekends started on Saturday (Oct 14) at the Rita Flynn netball courts for divisions 15 to the premiere division.
