With three of the key Hunters players – Justin Olam, Bland Abavu and Adex Wera – suspended following a video review after last week’s game against the Townsville Blackhawks, Hunters coach Michael Marum added Wartovo Puara Jnr, Adam Korave and Nixon Borana in backing the team.
Meanwhile, the Pride are playing for exactly that and have shown plenty in their last three matches with wins over Burleigh and Tweed, as well as a narrow 22-20 loss to the Blackhawks.
