The Port Moresby-based soldier has been in court since August 3 last year after he was charged with the persistent child sexual abuse under section 229 of the Criminal Code and Sexual Offenses and Crimes Against Children’s Act.
He last appeared in court on Dec 24, 2015 and the matter was adjourned to today for an expected ruling, however that did not proceed as the magistrate presiding over his case is out of Port Moresby on Court circuit.
