Taekwando programs start

The Waigani Taekwondo Club will be promoting nationwide community initiatives.

They are: “Stay Strong – Kick Drugs out of PNG”, “Stop Violence against Women” and “Stop Bullying in Communities”.

Master Jamuga Stone will be facilitating for these projects using martial arts as the driving force to address these national social issues.

Stone says the aim is to promote these national issues and appealed to interested individuals to sign up for the classes.

The taekwondo and martial art programs will include topics focused on:

  • General fitness
  • Street smart self-defense
  • Traditional martial arts
  • Unarmed combat martial art
  • Martial arts weaponry
  • Strong martial arts philosophy
  • Sports martial art
  • National and international grading system

Meantime, martial arts of Hapkido and Jujitsu will be introduced in April this year.
