​Minor snooker titles underway

​The BSP PNG Men’s National Minor Snooker Titles cued off this week in Port Moresby with 24 players registering.

Tournament director Joey Chan said the round robin matches started on Wednesday and were played over the best of three frames.

The final 16 will be play in the quarter finals today.

Chan said the semi-finals will be played at 11am on Sunday and the two winners will meet in the grand final at 3pm at the Lamana Q Club.

A closing ceremony will be held at 7pm following the grand final.

Meanwhile, nominations and registrations for the Major Titles are slowly coming in.

Chan said registration of K200 closes on Monday, September 11, with the games scheduled to start on Tuesday.

“We should have 40 players registered for the Major Titles by Monday,” said Chan.
