Work on the Kavieng Sports Stadium is progressing well and is expected to be open in September this year.
The multi-purpose building is at 70% complete with interior walling and glass windows.
The building is expected to hold a capacity of 4000 people, VIP Box and lockers and change rooms for athletes.
It will host both local and National Sporting events.
The Stadium is being constructed by China Railway construction at a cost of K9.28 million.
