Ginitoka school double celebration

Ginitoka Junior day high school witnessed the opening of its new double classroom as well as held their second grade 10 graduation.

About 158 students graduated, passing out with attainment certificates.

On behalf of the Education Director, Dickson Simon who is the Education project officer officiated the double classroom opening and the graduation.

“This is the first journey of your career and this is your first one, you have another two or three more graduations to go. When you continue into grade 11 and 12 discipline yourself and put your mind set straight to your studies,” he stated.

Simon said that Eastern Highlands Provincial Government through the division of education is ready to give more funding to schools to put up school infrastructure.

On the day of graduation, Goroka Secondary School Principal, Peter Hasu was also present and made it known to the parents teachers and students of Ginitoka Junior Day High School that all 58 students of Ginitoka will be taken in by GSS.

Ginitoka Junior High School Principal, Gispe Kapi thanked Hasu for making the commitment and assuring the parents, teachers and students for the spaces at GSS next year.

Kapi also thanked the EH Education director, Wesley Albert for the continued support for makings funds available for Ginitoka high school.
