An international team of surgeons will be in Port Moresby from January 26 till January 30 to perform a series of open heart surgeries on patients in the Pacific International Hospital.
The team from SAL Hospital, India, will be in Port Moresby and will be operating on patients who require complicated cardiac surgeries like coronary artery bypass graft (CABG), left ventricular repair, valve replacements, atrial septal defect (ASD) and ventricular septal defect closure, PDA closure, bental procedure, etc…
The team from India, headed by Dr Anil Jain (with more than 25 years of experience in the field), includes Dr Naman Shastri, Dr Vishal Gupta and Dr Rajen Modi. They will be supported by the team from PIH - Dr Ronald Galicio, Dr U Nagarajan, Dr Jaiyesh and Dr Abraham.
