The Vibe captivates audience at Business Summit

The Vibe was not only heard but felt at the PNG International Business Summit 2017 in Brisbane last week.

PNG’s first ever girl-band was invited to perform at the event.

Making the best of their first big gig, The Vibe left an impression on at least 300 delegates, all of whom are important to PNG’s international business relations.

The Vibe captivated the audience and the guest kept talking about their performances the following day. We even got some more invites to perform overseas,” said Nicole Jeune, the band manager.

And it was not just the singing that stunned the crowd.

The trio stepped on stage with beautiful outfits, adorning accessories, all from Lava Girl fashion, by PNG’s local designer, Annette Sete.

The Vibe are also into PNG Fashion and it was a pleasure when we met with Anette from Lava Girl.

“The outfits symbolize some parts of PNG, so incorporating the outfits and representing PNG overseas made us proud of who we are and how we can represent PNG women overseas and the PNG Fashion Industry,” Jeune said.
