Knox to celebrate Fiji day in Pom

Fijian rock-reggae artist Knox will be in Port Moresby over the weekend for the Fiji Day celebrations.

nox is an award winning Fijian artist who vibes the style & sound of a combination of Bob Marley vocals and Jimmy Hendrix on guitar.

Inoke "Knox" Kalounisiga, is a singer/songwriter. He is a celebrated household name in his homeland Fiji.

He is known for his unique raspy voice, soulful stage presence & gifted guitar skills perfected since the age of seven. 

Originally performing laid-back contemporary reggae, Knox has evolved his sound into

Soul Reggae Rock with a twist of Roots.

This will be his first trip to Papua New Guinea and one he has been looking forward to for a while.

He will be performing at the Grecian room at Lamana on Friday October 13, accompanied by his band.

The group will provide entertainment for the 3 course dinner and show, commemorating the Fiji.

The Fiji Day is recognised on October 10, annually. This was when Fiji gained independence from British colonial rule in 1970.
