Hip-hop is here to stay

There’s a statement in every music made.

Infinite by 3Kiingz reminds us that hip-hop is in PNG and is here to stay.

Kamako of 3Kiingz had a chat with Loop PNG to reveal the message behind this hit, released late last year.

Infinite is basically about progression, something that never stops. And in this case, it reflects hip-hop.

“This genre started in the late 1960s and evolved. It has come to where it is now. It’s a statement that PNG hip-hop has started and we’re moving forward. It’s a culture, a world-wide movement that won’t stop. Wherever its touches, it keeps progressing,” he said.

Kamako said Red Tie productions was involved in producing the video of Infinite.

The video will feature artist Anthony Wesley Evennett and an Alotau youth group. This video is said to be better than the groups other previous videos.

The video is yet to be launched.

3Kiingz has released 65 songs between the years 2015 – 2016.

Kamako says there more songs, yet to be released.

3Kiingz will be performing tonight at the Kanaka Wear launch at the Cosmopolitan.
