Two men are behind bars after they attempted to attack a man from another tribe last night in Hela Province.
Police say they saved the man just before he was attacked.
The men aged 34 and 45 have been slapped with charges of assault with deadly weapon
Meanwhile three men have been arrested and will be charged for breaching the liquor ban law.
Police say they tried to smuggle two cartoons of whiskey into the province earlier this morning
The men are aged 23 and 28
Police also continue to hold peace talks with two tribe after a fight yesterday that left two men dead and three houses burnt down.
