Three police weapons still unaccounted for

Port Moresby police are still searching for three more police-issue firearms wanted in relation to the Tatana and Hanuabada shootings.

NCD Metropolitan Police Commander Ben Turi says that while one gun is unaccounted for, another is believed to be in a soldier’s possession, and the third is with a policeman on the run it is claimed.

Turi told PNG Loop that the policeman was  identified as Steven Siski, who is a Port Moresby-based officer but has been in hiding from investigators with his weapon which is unaccounted for.

Investigators have also traced another weapon they believe to be in the possession of a soldier who is yet to be tracked down and questioned.

The third weapon is still to be accounted for.
