After much waiting the Sanguma band has taken the stage at the Sir John Guise stadium for the Independence Spectacular concert.
All seats at the outer and grand stand have been taken up.
Some who paid for tickets and could not get a seat have resorted to sitting on steps below the outterstand areas.
About some hundreds are still outside the vicinity of the stadium at the Wards road.
Others who were unsuccessful in purchasing a ticket have resorted to handing around the stadium and Vision City to at least hear the live performance from inside the stadium.
