Eastern police command chief has completed his week - long tour of his command at Minj Police Station.
Divisional Commander Nema Mondiai visited Minj with the previewing of a parade in front of the police station today.
Mondiai thanked the parade for their parade and made him welcomed at their station.
"I will complete my Jiwaka leg of the tour here today and thank you all for your presence through the parade. I am glad to see you all in such a parade and hope this is not the last. I will make regular visits, inspection and tours to ensure our duties of policing are prioritised," Mondiai said.
The Divisional Commander was accompanied by Jiwaka Provincial Police Commander Chief Superintendent Joe Tondop.
Police Station Commander Senior Inspector Orim thanked Mondiai and Tondop for their visits as this is their first visit to his station.
"I am more than humble to see our leader making his first visit since taking up the command," he said.
Mondiai, who is also the Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) addressed the Non Commissioned Officers (NCO) at the police station before returning to headquarters in Mount Hagen.
