Michelle Obama's latest playlist features TLC, Beyonce, and a song from 'Hamilton'

Over the weekend, the U.N. celebrated a new holiday of its own, International Day of the Girl, meant to raise global awareness for gender equality issues.

First Lady Michelle Obama, whose initiative Let Girls Learn works to get education for 62 million girls across the world, honored the day by crafting a Spotify playlist.

In the grand tradition of Obama family Spotify playlists, Michelle's Day of the Girl playlist bangs. It's packed top-to-bottom with girl power hits from Beyonce's "Run the World (Girls)" to TLC's "No Scrubs" and runs across genres like pop, R&B, hip-hop, even show tunes (Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda has the honor of being the one dude at this party, thanks to the inclusion of his anthemic "My Shot"). It's guaranteed to get you jazzed about the fight for gender equality.
