Juffa encourages students to strive and succeed in life

You can’t achieve your dreams if you continue to complain and do nothing.

Those are the advice given by a vocal Governor for Oro Garry Juffa today when visiting the largest primary school in Northern Province, Popondetta Primary School.

Juffa visited the school after the students’ request that he should visit and look at the situation of overcrowding of students in the classrooms and the deteriorating conditions of the buildings.

He told students to not look at the situation and give up but to strive and achieve their dreams.

‘You are so privileged to be in a classroom compared to other students in other areas where they attend classes in shelters with no desks to sit on.’

Juffa encourage students to read a lot of books and study hard.

He made a commitment to work with the provincial Department of Works to build a school library, computer lab and a school hall.

Head teacher Clarence Honani when thanking the governor said the commitment is very timely when the school really needed those facilities.

Popondetta Primary has 1025 students and 25 teachers.
