Digicel has announced that it will provide its prepaid subscribers 33 per cent more data to their current data plans.
This promotion is the first of a whole series of value campaigns that Digicel will deliver to consumers.
From Wednesday 6 April until midnight on Tuesday 19 April, Digicel’s Regular and Social Data Plans will increase its data bundles.
Digicel’s Head of Consumer, Khattar Fehmi, said subscribers would pay the same price for each data plan and receive the additional megabytes.
“Significant numbers of our customers subscribe to these four data plans and we want our subscribers to extend their online activity and enjoy more internet browsing and download time.
“Our smartphone customers are keen online users and we are thrilled to offer this data plan promotion. With these value promotions we want our customers to enjoy more social media chat times, download and update their applications, send and receive more email and browse longer on the internet,” said Fehmi.
Smartphone consumers are rapidly increasing in the country as Digicel expands its telecommunications infrastructure in PNG. The market for internet consumers is growing with the increase of smartphone savvy customers who are everyday users of online mobile applications.
