The body of a man that was found with gunshot wounds to the head at Baruni is one of the suspects from the K1.2m heist that took place at the airport a month ago.
The suspect was found dead on Monday last week at Baruni, Port Moresby, with two bullet wounds in his head.
CID investigators say the deceased lived at Morata and was picked up early in the morning, killed, dumped in a ditch at Baruni and later discovered by early morning commuters.
CID officers are continuing their investigations into both the murder and K1.2m heist at the airport and have denied the involvement of any gang-related activities.
