Enga students graduate from agricultural training in Israel

Twelve students from Enga Province graduated from agriculture training in Israel on Monday.

“It was my humble privilege to witness today (Monday) the successful graduation of the 12 students from Enga who have been studying Innovative Agriculture Technology; a dynamic work based training program implemented in partnership between the EPG (Enga Provincial Government) and the Enga IAI (Innovative Agriculture Industry) project at Taluma in Sirunki,” said EPG Deputy Administrator Sandis Tsaka.   

“This significant milestone which was conducted at the Kibutz where they were based in a moving ceremony that was also attended and witnessed by high level representatives from the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, the PNG Consular General to Israel, IAI Group International, Kibutz Cooperative Societies Inc, Lecturers and staff of the two participating training Kibutz; and family and friends.”

“The staff and program coordinators of the 12 students praised and commended them highly for their academic and technical performance as well as their commitment, discipline and conduct during their three months in Israel with the program,” Tsaka who witnessed the graduation said.

The students will be engaged in the agricultural project at Surinki.
