Parisse was a very welcome arrival at Italy’s hotel on Tuesday, when after a wait of over two weeks the team's Illustrious long-time captain finally joined up with Jacques Brunel’s squad. 

While Italy played France and Canada, the 32-year-old number eight was back home in Paris recuperating and then training under the auspices of his club side, Stade Francais, following surgery earlier in September. On Monday he was finally given the all-clear to join up with the Azzurri, and less than 24 hours later he jumped on Eurostar to whizz to London. 

The belated birthday girl appeared relaxed and happy, surrounded by hubby Jay Z and daughter Blue Ivy. The trio was joined by fellow Destiny's Child member Kelly Rowlands and her family—including husband Tim Witherspoon and baby son, Titan. The families traveled in a luxury yacht through the Mediterranean, stopping in Nerano for lunch at the top-rated Italian gem, "La Conca del Sogno." Translation: the conch of a dream. It certainly looks like the lunch of our dreams!

The aid group said some of the 80 survivors who were brought ashore Thursday in Augusta, Sicily, reported the deaths that occurred the previous day.

Details were scarce, but survivors told Save the Children's advisers that the migrants died as the dinghy began taking in water.

The dead were believed to be mostly sub-Saharan Africans from Senegal, Mali and Benin and included at least seven children, the group reported in a statement.

The Civil Protection office in the city of Trento said none of the injuries was serious in the Sunday morning accident on the A22 Autostrada. The injured were treated in emergency rooms in local hospitals. Their ages ranged from 17 to 19.

The Italian news agency ANSA said the bus ended up on its side. It said the teenagers, 35 in all, had been heading home to Bremerhaven, Germany.
