POMAFL set for finals

With only two weekends remaining before the Moni Plus POMAFL competition goes into semifinals, code President Douglas Lai has praised all the clubs for their sacrifice and commitment.

Thus making this season the best yet under the COVID-19 pandemic Niupla Pasin protocol.

He said since the season was launched at Keapara in the Hoodlagoon District of Central Province in early August, this year they’ve also seen the emergence of new club Alavana Swans of Hula.

In his prospects for the finals showdown the President confidently said competition pacesetters and defending champions West Eagles will again be the team to beat this season.

Meantime, Lai said the standard of women’s competition has also improved this season and will be staging their finals earlier than the men.
