The Port Moresby Softball Men’s 2017/18 season came to a close over the weekend with two nail-biting grand finals that went right down to the wire.
For the B Grade division, Stingerz edged out Yokomo 6-5 to claim the title.
The main event between Brown Eagles and United Brothers was everything it was expected to be.
It was a seesawing affair with the lead changing several times, but the men from Matupit saved the best for last, taking back the lead in the final inning in stunning fashion to give the Eagles an 8-7 win in the A Grade final.
