Good Friday Walk- Station of the Cross update

The crowd number has increased since the start of the Station of the Cross this morning at the Don Bosco Technical Institute.

About a thousand began the walk this morning at 4am to Manu Autoport, down to Sabama, further down to Gabutu and Badili.

It continued past Koki through to Ela Beach and Down Town of which the congregation increased further.

The Cross is now at the foot of the Poreporena Freeway where it will be brought up to the next parish taking up the 10th station at Hohola.

Former Pomio MP and National Planning Minister Paul Tiensten, now serving time at Bomana, is also taking part in this walk.

More than 3,000  people including inmates of Bomana are on route for the Freeway and is expected to further increase by the time it reaches Waigani around 12pm today.
