Brother B13 dancing their way up with Yu Em Khax

They have come to Port Moresby with good spirit of competition and that is, whether they win or lose, so long as they do what they love.

B13, is a dance group made up of two brothers - Greg and Adolf Kaona, who reside in Lae Morobe Province.

The duo made it through the Lae heat of Digicel Play’s Yu Em Khax talent show, through the semi-finals and will be competing in the grand-final.

If there’s another thing they’re grateful to the show for, it’s making it possible for them to see the capital city – Port Moresby.

According to the eldest, Adolf, the brothers have been dancing since they were children.

This passion has reaped its fruit, bringing the two to compete in Port Moresby for the semi-finals and then again for the grand-final to be aired on Sunday, January 29.

“Dancing for me is just like a game or sport. You have to train for it and keep getting better at it. I am not a sports person but I prefer dancing,” said the smaller of the siblings, Greg.

“We don’t wish to be famous. It’s about the opportunity to dance like this,” Greg added.

Catch the B13 crew and other grand-finalist performance on TV Wan Life channel, 7:25pm, Sunday, January 29.
